Wedding in the Ligurian Riviera
When Serena and Fabrizio decided to get married, they were already parents of two marvelous children, Vittoria, who in that special day played the role of bridesmaid, and Davide, who carried the wedding rings down the aisle.
The religious ceremony took place in an enchanting with a magical sea view, while the reception was held in a villa with a beautiful private park, from which a breathtaking view could be enjoyed.
The colours chosen for their wedding in Genoa were white and pearl grey; within the church was stretched out, indeed, a pearl grey runner and also the benches were covered with a fabric of the same shade. Gisophila and beautiful white hydrangeas covered the outside and the altar, giving the room a touch of fragrance and magic.
Meanwhile, a sublime soprano delighted the ceremony and the bride and groom's arrival, who made their triumphant entrance to reach the church with a magnificent vintage Rolls Royce, also strictly white and with chaffeur in livery and white gloves.
The couple decided have Federico Silvestri not only as their wedding planner, but also as their stylist; Fabrizio was styled with an impeccable smoke-coloured dinner jacket, signed Giorgio Armani, white gold and diamond family cufflinks and as a little quirk, a black ceramic bow tie. Serena, on the other hand — who did not want to renounce her dream of wearing a white lace mermaid dress on her special day, despite already being a mother — was accompanied by her wedding planner to Milan. There, the chosen place was the Alessando Angelozzi couture wedding dress atelier, and the first model she wore was the one she eventually chose: a wonderful haute couture creation in French lace with long sleeves, a bare back, an important tail and a veil of no less than 9 metres, all edged in French lace.
It is an understatement to say that her entry into the church on the notes of Ave Maria was touching, as well as super romantic, especially with her two beautiful childreen accompanying her. Her look was defined by a pair of blue Manolo Blahniks, the very shoes Carrie wore in the film Sex and the City, and a bouquet of lily of the valley and sweet pea.
For what concerns the reception, we arranged an imperial table with glass vases topped by white flower arrangements, candelabra, runners in pearl grey, candles and rose petals. In addition, architectural lighting in the festive pavilion made the atmosphere even more magical, tinging everything with delicate hues.
The sweet table was set up in the main hall of the villa under a beautiful chandelier, precious silver caspots from the groom's mother's private collection were used as containers for the sweets, there were no favours, but a cadeau for each guest: for the men a white pocket square with the bride and groom's initials embroidered in pearl grey, and for the ladies a pearl grey mini bob, also embroidered with the bride and groom's initials, but in white.
