Wedding in Genova
For love, Elisa left Liguria to go and live in Rome with her beloved Giuliano, who had to stay there because of his military career. But for her wedding, she had no doubt: it had to be celebrated in Genoa.
When the big day came, Giuliano arrived at the church impeccably dressed in his uniform, even though he was not allowed to wear the flower in his buttonhole. Elisa, aware that her groom would be in white, chose a tulle and lace dress in a delicate shade of powder. For her bouquet, however, she opted for fragrant Duchesse and Astilbe peonies.
On their way out, before the rice was thrown, the bride and groom were greeted by an impressive guard of honour. Then it was time to celebrate: the protagonists chose as the location for the reception a charming villa overlooking the sea on the Ligurian Riviera with a wonderful park, perfect for the photo shoot.
For the arrangement of the guests, the bride and groom opted for two symmetrical imperial tables decorated along their entire length with a torchion of flowers and greenery. The cutting of the cake took place in front of the facade of the villa surrounded by their guests and then everyone danced until late into the night.
