Wedding in Alassio
Davide and Silvana love spending the weekend in Alassio with their son, who is a true fan of the sea and the beach. It is precisely the special kind of connection they have with this charming seaside town that led them to decide to celebrate their wedding on the beautiful Riviera Ligure.
The wedding ceremony was held in the beautiful church Chiesa di Santa Croce, which offers a stunning view of the entire bay. The theme they chose could be no other than the sea and its shades: this choice was well visible in the decorations, as there were stunning bunches of gypsophila and blue hydrangeas, as well as loads of candles that created a magical atmosphere. Even in the wedding invitations, the couple decided to pay homage to the beach, engraving the initials of their names on the shore and placing them all over the wedding stationery.
Davide made his entrance arm in arm with his mother, whereas Silvana entered the church holding her son's hand and wearing a stunning Blumarine dress that was adorned with two aquamarine earrings, a gift from Davide.
After the ceremony, everyone moved to the panoramic terraces for an aperitif and the first toast of the couple as newlyweds. Of course, the traditional photo in front of the Muretto di Alassio (Alassio's famous little wall) could not be missed! Then everybody reached the bathing establishment where the wedding reception took place, directly pieds dans l'eau. When guests arrived, they found baskets with white flip flops to wear. The tables, placed on the seashore, were decorated with white linen tablecloths, shells, starfish and a wrought iron candelabras filled with white and blue flowers: a truly dreamlike scenario.
A gourmet menu, together with an accurate wine service run by sommeliers, delighted the guests. For the cutting of the cake, a romantic gazebo with white awnings was set up by the sea, and a fibre optic beam positioned at the base illuminated both the couple and the sea. When the magical moment arrived, Davide and Silvana surprised friends and relatives by revealing the exciting news that they were expecting a little brother for their baby, creating a moment of shared joy. Finally, hundreds, indeed thousands, of candles were lit on the shoreline and in the sea, following the typical Ligurian tradition, creating an enchanted atmosphere.
